Tool #413 Scriber (soft materials) The soft material scriber is intended for GaAs and InP. For scribing of harder material such as Silicon, use tool #1009. Absolutely no scribing of Silicon, Sapphire, Alumina, Quartz, Glass, GaN on Sapphire or SiC. The soft material scriber is completely manual and handles up to 2" wafers.
