Tool #1009 Scriber (hard materials) The hard material scriber is intended for harder materials, such as Silicon and Glass. For scribing of softer materials, such as GaAs and InP, you may use tool #413. Absolutely no scribing of Sapphire, Alumina, GaN on Sapphire or SiC. The hard material scriber is completely manual and handles up to 3" wafers.
